Don't you hate people with perfect credit? The type of people who would never in a million years need a no credit check loan? Well, I don't mean that you literally "hate" them but just the idea of how easy it is for these people to walk into any bank and obtain whatever money they need.
I feel your pain! I know exactly how it is to need money desperately but have less-than-stellar credit which makes it quite difficult many times to obtain a loan for what your heart desires.
Well, don't despair because even though your local mega-bank down the road may turn you down, there are still companies that will work with your even if your credit is quite bad or -- dare I say -- horrid! Yes, you may be able to get that loan you want so badly.
There are a couple of things to think about before checking with one of these companies, however. First, it would be good to go over your finances and see if you actually do have the means to make the monthly payments on a new loan. If your credit score is very bad you can use this time period to "kick it up a notch" and improve your score greatly by deciding, should you be approved for the no credit check loan, that you will make each and every payment in a timely manner. Can you do it? If so, great! You'll be amazed how fast your score will improve after maybe 5 or 6 months of no late payments.
Now, consider what you are applying for a loan for. Is it for perhaps a debt consolidation? Maybe home improvements or even a new car? Maybe you just have your eye on that really cool boat down at the dealership and you have decided you simply must have it no matter what. Been there done that! I know that feeling. Just refer back to the previous paragraph and be sure you can afford the payments. If so, then there are companies that will look at other things than your credit score when you apply, and you will have a great chance of getting a loan with them regardless of your credit history.
Generally, it is not a requirement with the companies that you own a home or have a checking account but if you do have these things it will probably speed things along. You may also keep in mind your interest rate will not be the lowest that it could be with great credit. But if you do obtain a no credit check loan and you make your payments on time, be assured that your score will improve and the next time you apply you can get a much lower rate.
